Sara Premkumar

Founder, Consultant Physiotherapist & Director

B.Sc., Dip.PT (IND), Dip. Sports Medicine, Pelvic Floor Therapist (MAL)

Madam Sara Premkumar founded the practice in Seremban in 1988 and has decades of physiotherapy experience. Her clinical background spans musculoskeletal, neurology, pediatrics, sports rehabilitation and recently, women’s health. 

With over 40 years of clinical experience, Madam Sara Premkumar is a pioneer in private physiotherapy in Negeri Sembilan and the founder of Ropheka Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre.

With qualifications in Physiotherapy, Sports Medicine and Pelvic Floor Therapy, she brings extensive expertise in treating a wide range of conditions. A former athlete herself, she has worked with various sports teams over the years, including the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) and Negeri Sembilan Football Club (NSFC), combining her passion for sports with her clinical expertise in injury rehabilitation and recovery.

Her wealth of experience, compassionate approach and dedication to patient-centred care have shaped Ropheka’s legacy since 1988, helping generations of patients regain mobility, recover from injuries and improve their quality of life.

Rebecca Premkumar

Senior Physiotherapist & Director

BSc (HONS) of Physiotherapy (UK)(MAL), Certified GEMt Dry Needling Level 1 Practitioner (AUS), Certified Antenatal & Postnatal Exercise Specialist (MAL)

Rebecca Premkumar represents the second generation of leadership at Ropheka Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre. With over six years of clinical experience, she takes a personalised, active and goal-oriented approach to rehabilitation, helping patients better understand their condition and build confidence in movement.

Rebecca is a GEMt-certified Dry Needling Practitioner with clinical experience across a broad range of conditions and a special interest in neurological and sports rehabilitation.

Prisha Ravichandran

Physiotherapist

BSc (HONS) of Physiotherapy (MAL)

Prisha has over 5 years of experience under her belt. She is warm and friendly but also has great attention to detail. She has a special interest in musculoskeletal and women’s health.  

With 5 years of clinical experience, Prisha Ravichandran is a dedicated physiotherapist at Ropheka Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre, with a special interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy.

She is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, manage pain and improve their quality of life through personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation. Her growing interest in women’s health reflects her commitment to supporting women through different stages of life, with a focus on restoring confidence, strength and overall well-being.

Known for her compassionate and patient-centred approach, Prisha strives to make every patient feel comfortable, understood and empowered throughout their recovery journey.

Josephine Linda Pillai

Clinical Receptionist

Josephine is one of the friendly faces behind the day-to-day running of Ropheka and an important part of the experience our patients have from the moment they contact us.

From answering calls and arranging appointments to welcoming patients and lending a helping hand when needed, she helps keep the centre organised and running smoothly.

Known for her warm and approachable personality, Josephine is always happy to have a chat and make patients feel comfortable and at home during their visits.

Whether she’s helping with an appointment, answering a question or simply greeting you with a smile, Josephine is very much part of the heart of Ropheka.
